According to A.net BA still haven't got the new seat CAA certified yet, until then no launch date.

Still seems though that WT+ will be in front of Club on their B744's with the new config [:w]

That sounds bizarre ... to be in WT+ squeezed between F and J, potentially off the plane first, with CC who must therefore be dedicated, or shared with F and J ... makes WT+ sound a good proposition ... be interested to see what transpires

Isn't it something do with Club seats not fitting into parts of the A/C very well where the fuselage curves ie towards the front of a B744 (well they will fit but there's a lot of wasted cabin floor space)

Sounds like from this they will still go for a front/back facing config for Club again.

I've flown in "reverse" a few times (3) on RAF VC-10's. I find the take off a bit wierd but the landing seems to make sense of the safety logic.

Wow, sounds super. Thanks for the info Paul. "Raid the pantry" sounds like something VS should really consider too, I'd imagine there will be a queue for the microwave though[:w].

Sorry but if I'm paying ~£2K for a business class flight, I for one, don't expect to have to serve myself. That to me reads as a reduction is service and not an added benefit.

The seat sounds good and I'm as yet undecided on the whole "raid the pantry" idea...;)
