Around the World (RTW) and Regional Fares and Rules for the Three Alliances

We also would like to announce an addition to our Fare Information access for our Premium subscribers. Now, you can retrieve Around the World, Circle Fares, and other regional fares sold by the major airline alliances: Oneworld, Star Alliance and SkyTeam.

These so-called "RTW" fares are designed for extensive travel throughout the world for a set price and allow multiple stopovers within the constraint of the fare. They are available in Economy, Business and First class, where available.

To retrieve the fares, just enter the same three-letter airport code for both the Departing Airport (your first point of departure) and the Arriving Airport in the Fare Information entry screen. Also, you may specify the airline in the alliance from whom you want to purchase the ticket using the Airline Code box. Up to three airlines may be specified and they can be from different alliances.

In addition to displaying the fare, we provide all published routing and purchasing rules and restrictions.

You can see the Y and C RTW offerings for VS:

Just had a good look round ExpertFlyers new offering, thanks for the pointer Richard...

I find the fare rules and restrictions are displayed in about the clearest manner possible on ExpertFlyer - RTW's normally carry a stack of these conditions, the information is now a lot easier to access and understand....[y]
