MBNA VS miles

Am I right in thinking that the miles on the new card are now credited a month in arrers?

I got my first statement in Nov with 5002 miles on it, they have yet to hit my account.

Sorry to create a new post but the old ones seem far to long to get an answer out of!

Hopefully they will turn up in the next few days, they used to go through at the start of the month.

You should have them in your account today, have you looked?

If not, you may want to verify that MBNA have the correct FC number.

They are not there yet, I may wait a few days then give MBNA a ring, I really hate calling them so would rather wait a little longer!

Sorry my first reply was so brief .. I got distracted [:I] it does pretty much answer the question though.

I have found with MBNA, that they USUALLY get it right in the end, some times the miles are under, sometimes they are over, but eventually it balances out.

The pain and frustration caused by ringing them should be avoided until absolutely necessary - it is rarely a pleasant experience.[V]

Well I decided to bite the bullet and give them a ring, you get through to the Irish call centre at night and I ended up flirting with the girl - I like the accent![:X]

Anyhow! It seems that in the transfer from Mastercard to Amex my FC number somehow got lost- ive now got to wait till Jan for my miles
Hopefully its sorted- I will find out in Jan

Happened to me this month.

I moved up a status, but MBNA kept my old FC number. Rang MBNA(0800 0150307) to check and gave them new number. Was told miles would be credited in Jan.

Checked online later in afternoon and miles had been credited same day.
