Hilton - Airline Rewards

I have just found out from Hilton Honnors that you can no longer redeem Hilton Honnors points to Airline Miles inc Virgin.

Luckily because i pointed out a discrepancy on their website about it they have said one this occasion they will do a points - miles transfer.

Did anyone else know about this?[?]

No, and b*gger, I was hoping to do this. Never mind, still got double dipping.

I emailed customer services (Hilton Honnors) with this link and said it does not make sense

This was their reply:


Dear ?

Thank you for your email. If you wish to exchange Hilton Hhonors points to Air miles (Reward Exchange) with Virgin Atlantic Airways you can do so and the exchange rate is 1500 Air miles for every 10000 Hilton HHonors points you may transfer and it may take up to 30 business days for the transfer to be processed. However, the Airline rewards are all discontinued.

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.


So it might be worth sending them an email pointing this out as it doesnt seem to have been amended on their website yet.

I just signed into my HHonors account and transfered 10,000 point to 1500 miles. Did it online no problem

When you log in to your account go to Member Services > Reward Exchange

I thought they'd stopped airline REWARDS (ie: free flights), but the TRANSFER of points to miles is still allowed?

If it's the reward issue, it's been announced for quite a few months now.

Starting January 1, 2007, airline rewards will no longer be offered as an HHonors reward. Members can redeem HHonors points for airline rewards through December 31, 2006. HHonors members will continue to earn airline miles for their stays at more than 2,700 Hilton Family hotels worldwide, and can redeem their HHonors points for airline miles with select airline partners as part of the HHonors Reward Exchange.

I think you're getting the two confused

Bit of a waste transfering HH points into miles,I just booked 3 nights in the Toronto Hilton in April for 52k miles now thats good value[y]
