as per http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-p ... 954397.stm

Quote: "A Taiwanese China Airlines passenger plane has been destroyed by fire at an airport on the island of Okinawa, in the south of Japan.

TV pictures showed the Boeing 737 on the tarmac at Naha airport, with flames and smoke billowing from it as firefighters doused the fuselage.

Japanese officials and police said that all the passengers and crew were safe."

Not much left of it, by the looks of things......

That airline are very dodgy - There is no way I would fly with an airline with that safety record - Its amazing nobody was killed,

Saw this while I was running at a rapid-rate at the gym....Everyone stopped and watch the coverage. Normally no one watches the news TVs. Sorta odd how people like to watch news stories about people possibly burning to their deaths. Guess it is more interesting than the fireman who saved an very old lady's life. Well I for one am happy that did not happen and all are well.
