ANZ FSM makes introductions in the Lounge!

I'm sat in the ANZ Lounge at LAX waiting for NZ2 back home, and the FSM who would be taking the flight forward from LAX to LHR came to the lounge and made an annoucement to introduce himself.

He's doing a walkround in the lounge talking to the waiting pax!

I think this is a first for any airline I've been on.

Glad VS is doing this--as I know NZ do. It is a wonderful start to a flight. Having the FSM intro in the CH makes the rest of the flight so much more personal and friendly. Of course the good NZ wines, the green lipped mussel appetizers passed throughout the CH and the VS Lax-Lon star spotting make it a great site as well.

I think that is Mike's point. He is flying Air New Zealand as he is on NZ2. I also wish VS did this. Cheap way to build a customer base by saying 'we care'.
