Following on from slinky09's thread on worst airports, I thought I'd start a new thread on airports that you think are the best.

Personally mine is MCO. Used it a few times and never really had a problem through there (this is going back 5 years here).

SFO - not because it's good in itself, but where it takes me too. Same for Logan.

Heathrow for me. Not the public areas, obviously, but the Clubhouse is simply fantastic.

The INTERNATIONAL terminal at SFO (especially check-in) is great - design, air, light, the works [y]

Shame the same can't be said for the domestic terminals.... [:w][:0]

HKG for me I think. Clean, modern, efficient and bright.

I like Logan, but only 'cos it means I am in Boston. [8D]:D

For facilities, shopping, lounges and just being a great place - it has to be Changi in Singapore.

Looking forward to exploring the new terminal next February.

ORK - the new terminal is light and airy and has yet to get overcrowded in the public areas

SFO - the International terminal ORK on a larger scale [:o)]

HKG - Very easy and user-friendly

I would have to go with SIN as the best overall when flying Y. Only place I have been where the immigration officer offered sweets.

MEL is fine, international terminal, as every time I have flown out it has always been quiet. There isn't that hustle bustle feeling you get at LHR.

When we were living in UK EMA was also nice and simple to use good views of apron and not too busy, when we used it.

Must agree with Pete and preiffer BUT BNA (Nashville, TN, USA) is very easy in and out. No fuss, no muss.

Changi and Chep Lap Kok! Both are exemplary examples of modern airports. The Koi pond at Changi is just awe inspiring!

Thanks,

The new BKK is good similar to HKG but on a smaller scale.

Vancouver. It's modern, airey, full of first nation art, although immigration is worse than a lot of other places.

The alaska air lounge isn't bad either although it's not Clubhouse.

Better than changi which, IMHO is looking a bit dated (apart from the 1st class singapore airlines checkin!)

Also agree with HKG. Nice and modern and airy. Feels nice
and relaxed. The more times i go to LHR the more i hate it!!

At least im going from T4 in Dec so hopefully that will be a bit
better [?]

I always enjoy going through Zurich especially the gates to the BA stands with the underground transit with TV screens along the tunnel.

Biggin Hill - just for the two mock-Hurricanes at the entrance gates.

HKG, as everyone else said, its modern, efficient and clean.
LHR, because when I'm there I know I'm off flying somewhere far flung (as most European destinations I want are served by BHX). And the clubhouse there is great.

Bizzarely the quickest transit through an airport was Coventry, also my least favourite airport. Hideous place at 6 in the morning with stag do's necking cans of tennants super.
