8 mile taxi cost?

Can anyone give an approx.cost for 4 people from the airport to 8 miles out?

I seem to recall it's fixed based on your hotel locatio. Strip, Fremont etc.

no it's not, if you take one of the shuttles it is fixed..in a cab you are looking around $30...just make sure they do not take you along the strip, the cabs are metered on time as well as distance, so stopping at a light will cost you.

Ahhh. Taxi/shuttle, after 10 hours in a metal tube the brain plays tricks on me.

It is the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort, Spa and Golf on North Rampart Blvd. Would that be away from the strip or would we have to go through it?
