How fragile, yet stong aircraft are!

I suppose that this occurs when they are sripping off the old paint and gouge the surface? A bit worrying given the changes in ownership and livery that most aircraft go through during their lifetime.

I noticed that airbus didnt appear to suffer from this problem!
