Hmm - the Air China reward seats seem suspiciously cheap - 75,000 miles London to Beijing return in 1st, 63,000 in Business and 56,000 in Economy. Also its only about 33% more in 1st than economy.....

Does anyone have and experience of flying Air China 1st (or business?)

If you get one of the new cabins (which most of the LHR flights have) you will have a good flight in 1st or business with a modern cabin.

Its probably a good deal because usually 'Air China' puts people off. They suffer from their past mistakes - a bit like Aeroflot!

When I first went to live and work in china, I was a nervous flyer and vowed to take as few internal flights as possible.
Work commitments and the travel bug eventually took over and I ended up taking internal flights very frequently.
All the airlines have very modern fleets, most airports were new, service is efficient and friendly - Business Class felt special even on short haul.
I've never flown long haul on a chinese airline, though my wife has, but I certainly wouldn't decline to fly with them if the price is right.
