I booked a pair of tickets from Las Vegas to Orlando for October with US Airways (one of the few airlines who fly direct), and given it's 4.5 hours I treated myself to First Class. Unfortunately in my post-Edinburgh haze, I managed to book the flight for one day earlier than the hotels in the two cities, but despite it being a premium fare, the US Airways reservation agents wanted to charge me $300 to change the date.

However, get on the phone to the web support team and explain I made a mistake entering the booking on the web and they amended it for nothing. Bravo for Tech Support, I say.

Mind you, if Virgin America flew the route, I could have changed with no-fee anyway.
