Things to do in Goa

Hi, judging by some of the trip reports I'm sure plenty of you have been to Goa[?]

We're off in April and was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for things do and places to go while we're there. Would be good to see as much of the 'real' India as possible.

It's been about 10 years since I was there so no doubt it's all changed a huge amount, but I found north Goa much nicer than south Goa, which was a little like what any of the european resorts have to offer. There is a great market at Anjuna, which is worth a visit. Panjim is worth looking around too. Is it safe to assume you're on a package deal that includes your accomodation?

Thanks for the info. Yeah you're right, we got a package deal. We're actually going to be just south of Goa but planning on lots of excursions and things.
