I've noticed that that there is usually a restriction of 3 hours time in a 'paid for' airport lounge (inc. V Room). Does anyone know, or have experience of, whether that rule is relaxed if your flight is delayed?

It's at the discretion of the lounge, and usually the time limit is based on when you arrive at the lounge. So if your flight was at 12noon, the would not let you in before 9am for the three hour limit. For a delay, it would depend on how many people they were expecting...

I have been in a lounge that was quiet so was turfed out as they decided to close early. (Servisair - Aberdeen). I should have learnt my lesson as Servisair Lingfield lounge at Gatwick is awful.
