So guys i have spent well over the 7500 pounds thresh hold for the companion reward flight, i was wondering will i be contacted to tell me i can now use the companion flight or do i have to wait a year before i can use it.

It will appear in your FC statement when you log into your account on the VS website.

The Premium Economy reward will appear within 30 days of your card anniversary date, and the companion award appears when you reach the required spend.

All details on how companion rewards work are on the VS site, but do bear in mind they are quite often not much use and don't offer a saving over 2 cheap revenue tickets, especially in econ and UC.

For the companion reward it should be when hit the threshold of 7.5k
for the economy upgrad it is rewarded on the anniversary of taking the card out.

In the formerv however like somebody has said, you can mostly find two cheaper tickets anyhow!
