One for Howard and Mr Decker, Business Traveller's annual Cellars in the Sky Awards, here.

It does not surprise me that VS features exactly nowhere. Which is such a shame, sourcing from BBR should give VS some really interesting options. Nevertheless, there are some mouthwatering wines on some airlines!

There are some baffling results there.Piper beating any of the others in the best J fizz[:0]

Piper rare better than Krug,Dom and Tat C de C plus BA's 99 GA Bolly not even in the top 5[:0]

Don't think the tasters were on the same BA F flight when awarding the
07 Meursault second place in the F white category.3 out of the 5 bottles loaded were corked, to be fair the other 2 went down rather well[:D]

It looks as though VS did not bother to enter - more than 65 airlines invited; 34 entered with VS not in that list.

Seems someone slipped up, VS usually does well in this sort of comparison.

Bill, how many times have you flown in Upper recently [:p]?

VS probably did not enter knowing that the recent offerings wouldn't stand a chance against this competition.

Yes, that one stuck out a mile ... but recently I've read an increasing number of tasting notes that place Piper higher than I'd ever believed myself.
