I've had a look at this, it's not really a bungee jump but I'm gagging for them to get approval for it and get it installed

There's a couple of video of the jump it'll be copying.
It does look a little controlled but I guess it has to be otherwise you'll be swinging into the tower.

Cool, from the way it was described to me it was a bungee, but that makes a lot more sense, looks like a fun thing for those inclined to jump of buildings.

Presumably it's the same thing as the Fan Assisted thing at the Sky Tower in AKL? I worked for some months in an office on the 23rd floor that looked out onto that attraction and each time I went back there it took several days to get used to people 'falling out of the sky' in my peripheral vision.

There was a report about it on FOX news here in Vegas this morning. I was up the tower yesterday, the only way I'd be coming back down is in the elevator[:0]
