Always dread departing MCO, I'm not Gold, and so far haven't been flying in the pointy bit (well upstairs is still pointy- but you know what I mean). As such no Delta Lounge n(
The remaining terminal is a nightmare- not enough seats, over crowded limited eateries/ bar etc.

There doesn't appear to be any prioritypass options either.

Are we missing a trick.. other than the obvious UG'ing. :?

When we didn't have lounge access we stayed landside and went up into the hotel bar, and ate at the restaurant there(we had a delay) McCoy's Bar and Grill I believe. Also there is much more seating landside and the foodcourt isn't too bad for a drink and a donut!!!

We ate at McCoys a few weeks ago, excellent place to eat and relax before the flight, make sure you leave enough time for security though it was a long wait when we went through, it was the Easter weekend though!!

They have added loads more seats in the last 12 months or so at the gates, but "oasis" it's not.

Mrs NH this evening leaving it as late as poss land-side, within reason. I think the choice of shops is keeping her entertained..

My battle plan for MCO is:

1. Meal in McCoys, never more than 3-5 parties in their at any one time, very quiet and decent food.

2. Go through security and then I normally head up to the 90-99 gates area of airside 4. This was previously unoccupied territory but is now used by Airtran. I have always found a very quiet corner to have a seat and wait until the flight boards.
