Importing food/drink

You go away somewhere, find a local food you really like and think to yourself "That was great, I wonder if I can take some home?"

Europe has very strict rules on the import of foodstuffs from outside of Europe, and for very good reason.

If you do want to and are not sure, DEFRA has a website that allows you to check before you buy.
