Hmmmmm, interesting. When I preview the post, the link works fine, but when I make it a live post, the link doesn't work, which was the problem I had when the post was first made, and why I edited it.

One for the more technical minded mods I think.

Maybe you can back out of your change?

just to clarify, I added the bit.ly link as the mod stopped the original link working, though I still see no problem with just posting URLs. At least you know what you are clicking on easily. I don't like all this new moderation business.

I did not stop the link from working. The link was not working (I and others tested it using different browsers), so I found the link again (it was the exact same link), and whilst re-posting it I tided it up at the same time, just to make it neater.

When I previewed the link before I posted it, it worked fine and so I made it live, however like your original link, it seems that it did not work again, as posted by another member.

Since then, you have made it a bit.ly link, and that seems to have solved the problem.

I have sent you a PM explaining all this and ask if you have any further issues with this or any other moderation to let me know via PM.

Nice link Locutus lounge looks very nice indeed, well worth a look if flying with CO or BA, i didnt see it mention the use of the prioriy pass to enter or did i miss that?

It was posted in the priorty pass newsletter. The facilities look great - especially for those of us connecting with BA up to Scotland y) , but come on VS, make it official or better still, take over the Continental arrivals lounge in the South terminal and let CO move their arrivals in this new lounge in the North terminal where their operations are based.

I also agree about whole URL's - I NEVER click in an unknown/unamed link as not sure where it will take me ! In my profession it is a risk we DO NOT take so like you I always post whole URL's for that reason.

Also agree about unknown links - but there is a mechanism to inspect a bit.ly - just add a "+" character to the link and it will then display the actual url in full
Much easier if one can just inspect the original but I do understand that it may slow low bandwidth systems.
