Hi folks, UA are re-running the same campaign they had last year:
"Fly to the US for business. Fly within Europe with our compliments."
Basically, complete a return trip between the UK and the US on United between 6th September and 31st October, in qualifying booking classes - any First (F or A), any Business (C, D, or Z), and any "full fare" Economy (Y or B bucket) - and recieve two free reward tickets on any Star Alliance carrier anywhere within Europe.
Note that Y and B fares get you into Economy Plus, and are upgradeable to Business Class. LHR-JFK return from the B bucket costs around £600, and if you have 30,000 miles, you have a relatively cheap route into UA's "pointy bit". Unfortunately, UA don't allow you to "double upgrade", so no using that route to get into F, where the really nice seats are.
