To any non-animal lovers that dislike the idea of pets being allowed to travel in the cabin you only need to look at the publically availiable reports of animal cargo deaths and injuries over the last few years (see here) to understand why many animal owners are adamant to never move their pets in this way, and I have to agree with them. When my (now) in-laws moved to Spain they shipped their two cats as cargo. Both cats appeared on the luggage belt with the suitcases rather than being sent to an animal centre (as watchers of 'Airport' would be familiar with). :0

:0 :0 :0 :0 were the cats ok??? heads would have rolled if that had been my pet.
I would love to be able to take my Mutt on flights as I'm already worried about leaving him when we go to Cuba next year

PS. if any one has any reccomendation of a kennel in the Essex area it would be hugely appreciated.
