Hey everyone
I'm flying in 5 weeks in upper class and after seeing the menu which I've never tried my girlfriend is a fussy eater so I was wondering if she can purchase any sandwiches in the south terminal to take on board as a snack?? Can't have her starving for 8 hours now haha

There are a few coffee shops etc post security and an M&S pre security so as long as you comply with the liquids rule it wont be a problem.

Just remember that the CC won't be able to heat any cold food up for her.

I have no idea just HOW fussy your girlfriend is, but you say you are flying Upper. I would be amazed if she can't find something in the Clubhouse. It is a long time since I have been in the LGW CH, but at LHR and other stations, they offer a good variety including a deli counter.

Perhaps a meal in the CH and a snack on board. I had a lovely big cheese plate last time and the crew did everything they could.

Boots or W H Smith in the terminal sell snacks too.

Haha she's well fussy! It's unreal! Yeah we will eat something like a breakfast in the LGW clubhouse but it won't fill us up for long so she asked me if she can buy a sandwich in one of the shops there! I know you can buy pringles crisps etc but I didn't look for sandwiches! So wondered if anyone knew if I can?

I always buy a sarni & some snacks, no matter what class we're flying, as we've been caught out several times landing at the wrong airport :0 , & if it's while before take off again for whatever reason, then at least you won't be starving.

I have had direct flights & & no delays & thrown the food away at the hotel but, having been caught out once, it really taught me a lesson.

Enjoy your flight. :D
