I thought this might be useful for some.
Currently you can travel for free between the terminals at Heathrow on the HEX and local busses.
But from Monday 2nd January 2012 the free travel will be extended to use of London Underground services (Piccadilly Line) between the terminals.
The bad news is that it will only be available to Oyster Card users, and you must touch in and out to get the free transfer.
Hopefully this will help some people who are transferring betwen terminals.
