Hotel in Miami

Hi,
I am travelling uv to Mia in July. We plan to spend e next day in Miami before moving on. So we need a hotel for one night. We are looking for something nice but reasonably priced. We will likely have collected a car so need a car park.

Any suggestions?
Or ang suggestions for good areas and areas to avoid. I might try one of the auction sites, but I will need to enter the area to search.

What's your budget?

I am planning pretty much the same thing for our holiday in June, 1st night in Miami before heading down to the Keys. Was originally going to book the Sofitel Miami Airport, but in the end went for the Hilton Downtown Miami as a points redemption. Not been to either, but my wife approved them both based on the TripAdvisor reviews...
