Alamo California

I am about to book car hire with Alamo for my trip to California in September. I am looking at a Luxury car however the example Alamo is giving is a Cadillac DTS which I'm sure has ceased production. Another example I have been given is a Lincoln Town Car which is also no longer in production.
I have tried contacting Alamo who gave me a speech about not being able to guarantee requests which didn't answer my question.

I am trying to make sure that I am not going to get something like a Lucerne or a Taurus Which I've had in the premium category in the past.

Any thoughts or does anyone know what they are offering.

BTW I understand that they will still have these cars in their fleet but as time goes on these will be replaced.

If you book with Hertz they have "reserve this exact model" options on a wide choice of vehicles - so need need to worry about the "or similar" catch!
