The westbound level of the Bay Bridge is closed.

You had me worried for a minute then, I'm driving up to Lake Tahoe next weekend. I hope it's not going to be subject to any more closure over the next four weeks.

They have avoided total closure unless necessary like the memorial day weekend a couple of years ago when the demolished part of the old bridge and slid in a new section.

There are regular single lane restrictions though so keep an eye on the bay bridge site for updates

Thanks I'll definitley keep an eye on that, we don't really want to miss our return flight.
