Just received my first statement and unsure how they have calculated the "you've earned xx flying miles" section. In a nutshell I've made a few minor purchases in this first month totalling £189.79, so I would expect to have earned 379/380 (depending on rounding) FC miles. However I have actually earned only 278 miles [:(]

Anyone got any ideas? I've poured through the A4 double sided sheet of T's & C's but they don't even mention anything to do with the "miles for pounds spent" thing - almost seems a standard MBNA set of T's & C's. My purchases were all pretty normal, eg. Tesco, Eurotunnel.

Finally, I'm supposed to get 4,000 miles after my first purchase, but no mention of this on the statement?

Hi Vegascrazy

For some reason the cut off point for miles is a few days before your statement date. The missing ones should be on next months statement. This is what happens with me anyway, and it always seems to work out right.[y]

As for the bonus miles, they were not mentioned on my statement either, but did show up in my FC account about a week or so later, but keep an eye on this as I'm sure in some other posts some people have had to phone the 'members shop' to get them credited.

Hope this helps,

Richard.

They should really come up with a better website too........viewing your online details looks like so kid at school knocked it up in a couple of minutes.

Haven't seen any mention of FC points on my statement there to be honest......

Hmm

I never got my 4000 bonus points. Are they baked into the total points or are they seperate?

Cheers

I can't quite remember how they work out the miles but it is rounded down.So if you buy something for £2.99 you would only get 4 miles, that soon makes a difference to your mileage accrued.[}:)]

I would give the members shop a call on 08456 10 2000 they will be able to put you right on the way your miles are worked out, you can also querey your bonus miles with them[y]

Don't let them get away with it, :D give the 0845 number a ring. I have found with the card that, if you don't ask - you don't get. [}:)]

My new card arrived today, made a purchase on the Interweb to get my initial purchase out the way. Now all I need is for my points to arrive from Blockbuster, so I can convert my points to miles [^] Should be over 6100 miles :D.

Just call me Carol Vorderman, I've done my sums and with my flights in March I will have the 40k I need for my future upgrade [^][y]

Maybe I need to order one more case of wine though, just in case [:w]

Moaned about my miles not getting added for buying some wine and eventually got the 1000 miles for the first purchase. Another 750 have now appeared as well so I'm not complaining.

I just emailed them about the miles......well had to twice as the first time they said they would look into it but nothing seemed to happen. Second email and miles there within 24 hours.
Will send a polite email asking about the 2000 miles (then probably another should the miles from my recent hotel stay not appear either)
