Anyone flown this route and if so, any advice please? A quick look suggests so far the only direct flights are from Orlando and with southwest airlines, but one of you may know differently????? Flying from Tampa would be easier, but as far as I can see, none of those flights are direct...

Any help much appreciated :)

If maximising miles/TP's on VS - I'd be going Delta via Atlanta.

Delta out of Nashville is very reasonable, and the Atlanta flights are moderately large at least (unlike United/AA's connections). It's also quite reasonably priced at times (about $100 each way) from what I can tell.

But if going ease of transit, I'd be going SouthWest.

I live in Nashville and fly this route half a dozen times a year, in fact did it has week as part of the final leg of MAN-MCO-BNA (on VS075 obv!).

I take Southwest 99% of the time - I prefer nonstop to monkeying around in Atlanta - and the cost isn't that bad either providing you can book in advance and are flexible on time.

It's likely to be just a night or 2, so don't really want to be using time up changing planes!

Thanks Andy for your input too - always helps to find someone familiar with the route. I'd been looking last night on my ipad, but just had another look on a desktop and see there are indeed direct flights from Tampa - clearly a case of not showing due to no flash on ipad!

Many thanks - I knew someone on here would know stuff :)
