Long stay travel insurance for over 70, less than 75

Any pointers:
My folks are looking at coming over to NZ for 3 months and looking for decent travel insurance, no wacky underwriting should be required. But combination of post 70 and extended stay tends to reduce options.

Any experience or pointers welcome in case we've missed an option.

Try Saga travel insurance.

Another vote for Saga being worth a look. Also worth trying Insure and Go.

We used Saga for several years but changed last year because the renewal was quite a hike, so we moved to Insure and Go. No problems with Saga otherwise. If they'd given us a decent renewal quote, we would have stayed.

And you're leaving God's own county to move to the soft south. We spent years "down there" but are loving being back.

NH, although not yet of your parents vintage I use Club Direct. I haven't had a problem with them yet, but then I again I haven't had any reason to claim......he said, searching for wood to touch. And your dad will enjoy the fishing in NZ, it is impressive stuff by all accounts.

Love being back in Yorkshire but we had a fantastic time in NZ in 2008. Auckland is amazing, I didn't realise till we got there that it's surrounded by water, just about a marina. Loved the Skytower too. And Milford Sound. And Bay of Islands. Maybe I should stop.
A comment also that Saga and now Insure and Go have been good but that said, we've never claimed (also searching for wood to touch).

I ran a few random quotations through a number of companies this morning; the problem kicks in with trips running past 31 days.

I didn't get a Saga quotation as they require name, email etc. but I, rather, suspect that they will be the same.

I think an extended stay, for the over 70s, is going to need a specialist broker.

y) Yep, it was looking like this route, given they want circa 3mths.
