Ok ... a quick question (2 actually)

I have read that frontier are now leaving at the end of the year, however am in Tampa in March and am taking advantage of a nice long UC return from SFO. Looking around they seem to be the cheapest and directish (connecting in denver) from TPA to SFO.

Has anyone used them before? if so what are they like?

Of does anyone have recommendations on that route?

Thanks

James

Very nice airline, all coach but they do offer direct tv and decent seat pitch,so if you are flying in Y then it rates up there with JetBlue,if your flying into Denver then that would be my choice..didn't know they flew into Tampa.

Other than that you could fly TPA-LAS-SFO on HP

I'd go for the TPA-DEN-SFO (no offence jetwet) as in my experience, frontier have been very good. Sort of like the jetBlue of the midwest.:D

I agree 100%,however HP's 1st class product is kind of nice if you can grab an upgrade, though being stuck in the back sucks...though saying that..

A few changes are coming for HP coach.

All leather seats, yes HP is replacing their entire coach class seating with all new seats(about time)with 34 inch seat pitch leather seats.

Thanks for the comments ... think I'll go for the TPA-DEN-SFO option as it has some decent flight times.

Now to find somewher to book it from the UK - why do all the websites not let you book US originiating flights grr [:(!] ... the only ones I've managed to find are:

lastminute.com ... but £30 ticketing fee [:0]
or
Opodo.co.uk ... with a quite reasonable £13 booking fee [:?]

Does anyone have any other options?

Just so you know,we just booked a flight with them LAS-DEN-FLL to get us to our ship in March, after looking at the price difference and the flight times F9 came out ahead, even though we wont get miles for it...

Though on the booking sheet there was a place for us to put our FC numbers,so of course we did who knows, may slip through, but I doubt it.
