Hmmn, finally got around to try and get paid out for my hotel.com stuff taken about 9 months ago.

And it tells me I can't transfer to avios from hotels.com or accorhotels.com. Anyway else seen this problem. To me this method was a way to get avios cheaper than buying them, and now they've silently withdrawn it 6 months later. Google isn't giving up much about it.

I cannot help with Hotels.com but have noticed that some companies do not let you have the cashback through other ways only through BACS, you have to read the T&C's on each offer.

I changed utility companies recently and got a good return but it would only pay direct into the bank account every other method was void, still lets me do Tesco though which is good but you have to wait for the quarterly bonus to go through to convert to Avios or VS miles and of course you can only do £50 a calendar year bit extra being a topcashback plus member 5%.

Those terms and conditions are not listed with those vendors, even now, I don't see any restrictions on a hotels.com booking.

If they did say about it I would NOT have booked a single hotel via them. Lets face it there are multiple hotel booking sites with as good, sometimes better percentages. Which might not block this.

But I've got 100 quid worth of points here...

You can only transfer £50 a year to Tesco, maybe they won't let you split it?

I am not talking about Tesco.

I transferred to Tesco fine, hit my limit.

I now have 100 quid in cashback from hotels.com and accorhotels.com which won't pay out to either avios.com or british airways, at the reduced rate (so 10.5K of avios), due to some sort of hidden "we don't do that" clause.

Oh sorry, I seem to be easily confused recently! :o)

Just found this on TCB website:

Damn, hidden away. Most of my cashback is from travel, or rather accomodation, and they exclude avios.

What I find about topcashback is that its barely worth it. Takes months and months and months, then tiny clauses. I once booked Hiltons and realised that it didn't cover the 600 quid booking cos it was uk only, and I'd just booked US.

I've had three ones not register and one was 100 quid short. Now they've said ok, here's 50 quid. No, _100_ quid short...
