Are you sure it was a new a320. I can remember on A.net that there was a discussion on this, but i cant remember the answer. But the plane was old enough. I know there is a pic somewhere of it from the early 2000's

Heres the link to the pic here

Thats kind of what it looked like, just different seat colours,I thought it was strange when the FA told me it was a new aircraft, because i've been told HP/US aircraft are getting all new seating with leather throughout,it was in the new US colours (of course I forgot my camera for this trip) so maybe it was a "new" aircraft over from US working HP routes.

I no that N664AW N680AW and N679Aw is painted in the new colours so theres a chance that 1 of them could have been the plane that you were on ( the pic i 1st posted was N6**AW).

I'm sure that there was a topic on this on A.net but their seach function isn't working at the minute.

I've been on some B737's in HP's fleet which have seat back TV (arcadia style screens as pictured by AerJohn), but it is always turned off.

Apparently they tried to launch a pay per view service a decade or so back, but it failed miserably, and it has never been re-activated since.
