Las Vegas Power Pass

My folks are going to Vegas in Sept. They are not the gambling kind but, like me, love Vegas. They will be there for around 4 days mid-week and have found a 'ticket' you can buy called the Las Vegas Power Pass. Does anyone know if this is worth getting or can anyone suggest some non-gambling things worth seeing. Now they will not have transport while they are there and will not travel too far.

I know a lot of you went recently and we have our resident (Dave) so I am sure there is some valuable feedback you can give me. Also any 'insider' tips greatly appreciated. Btw, they will be staying at the Luxor.

Well just looking at it,if your folks have a car and feel like running around town then yes it's a good deal,however,with the time it takes to go around everything or even some of the things that are offered and the distances involved in getting to some of the attractions it may not be the best idea.

Take a few minutes and do a litle research with your parents,see what their interests are,go to the relevent websites and see what they are charging for admission.

If your parents are not renting car while they are here then I would have to say dont do it.

We had already taken a quick look at the available web information. They will be willing to take cabs up and down the strip and maybe a few blocks off.
The write-up claims to be worth upto $250 yet that daily price is only about $60. Obviously it is not possible to do it all in a day but then they do have the multi-day options.

Looking through the available lists I know for example that this will miss Star Trek, but they will definately go to the Secret Garden (My favourite) and maybe some of the museum type stuff.

Also the ticket claims of discounts and offers, but not exactly what these are. In my experience elsewhere where offers are expressed in this manner it is only what can be given elsewhere (usually for no charge).

To be honest this is the firsttime I have heard about it,so can't say I have any more info,just check the locations of everywhere.
