British Airways Jet Makes Emergency Landing at BOS

Lead story on the local Fox TV News here in Boston last night.

A London bound British Airways Jet was forced to make an Emergency Landing at Logan International Airport after the crew smelt smoke in the cockpit after takinmg off from New York's JFK.

Update from the local ABC TV News this morning.

Massport officals report that the smoke was a mechanical problem.

The 140 passengers on board all safe.

This is how much the news gets skewed, the plane was in fact coming from EWR.
