Hi all.

I've made an executive decision [|:)] & booked 2 rooms x 5 nights next May over the marathon weekend. I'm sure after an easyjet flight from LGW it'll all be wonderful, if not I'll be straight back to reception[:w]

And no, I'm not running the marathon personally but my bruv-in-law is [y]

I'm not sure how much you may dislike buses and prefer taxis but there's a very good Express bus service from outside the airport terminal into the city. It stops in Shandwick Place, just across the road from the Caley. At the moment the bus is 3.50 one way / 6.00 open return; a cab will cost around 18.00 each way.
