I hadn't realised that there was no dryer in the room until I went looking for it and found the notice that told me to ask at reception. So there was I, in reception with wet hair standing in a queue of people checking out only to be told it was out and to come back half an hour later! :0 Apart from the fact that half an hour later I was due to be in St Pancras for the Eurostar, my hair dries very quickly and I need the dryer to style it. I spent the day looking like something the dog had dragged in

I did indeed! And there are piccies to prove it - not that I am likely to show them ): A couple of weeks later I met some of the people on that trip whom I had met for the first time then. Their comment on our second meeting? "Don't you scrub up well!" :P
