Sorry - Sod all to do with Cameron.

PEOPLE - take responsibility for YOUR actions. Nothing more ironic than people IN the panic-buying-queue being interviewed, berating those in the queue panic buying.

People are sheep. The "I'm alright, Jack" mentality takes precedent over common sense. In general, people deserve to run out of fuel as a result of their own stupidity.

Have you sat in a queue? Did you NEED the fuel? Would you have topped up in NORMAL circumstances? (bearing in mind any *possible* strike is AT LEAST 10 days away now)

Stop blaming "the government" and start blaming YOURSELVES.

An additional £32M in extra fuel duty raised for the government to mismanage and record sales at the end of a financial year too for some major petrol retailers - And all because of confused and incorrect statements from various government spokespeople and media hype.

It's correct to say that individuals need to take responsibility for their own actions - perhaps politicians of all parties need to do the same.

To misquote Bill Hicks, 'Go back to bed Gt Britain, your Government is in full control of the situation'......

and that quote would apply to ANY party in power

Don't believe all you read in the DM.
£32M!

There are almost 32 million cars on UK roads.
Normally only 1/3rd full tanks.
They get a LOT more than £1 fuel duty on 2/3rds of a tank of fuel!

£1 Billion is nearer the mark for 32 million cars.
And quite useful when so close to official recession...

Jerrycans indeed! I'm just considering the 1,500 litres of fuel in that big green tank outside my house.

I wouldn't believe nor even read the DM if my life depended on it

Given the state of politics in the UK at the moment I wouldn't trust Cameron, Clegg or Miliband to book a dinner reservation on my behalf, never mind be in positions of power in Parliament
