I suppose, if I was pushed to admit to it, this amount of running would just about sum it up ;):D

Anyone planning on doing the SF Marathon? It is almost sold out.

Hope to see a bunch of VF Runners out there; preferably runner the marathon or half marathon with me.

I will host a carb loading partying at the terrace, over looking the start/finish line if you come. :)

Are you running this year Ben?

All credit if you are, i would like the challenge but cant imagine myself actually doing it. My instructor at the gym keeps trying to get me to sign up for something more challenging than pounding away at the crosstrainer with the iPod on!

V Flyer marathon LOL - hmmm ... cant see it myself ... where do we pick up the blue drinks from enroute?

If you are running let us know how it goes and how you do :)

I am rumming (hehehhe). So Sarah is in then :)

The San Francisco Marathon

They offer the full marathon, half marathon, and a 5K run/walk.

Michael, the SF Giants play the Washington Nationals on July 31 @ 7:15PM.

And the course is great. Up the Embarcadero, across the Golden Gate Bridge, into Golden Gate National Park, on Haight, then past SBC Park and back to the Ferry Terminal.

We only need four more people to join for a team! (total five)

Cheers

I'm running the NYC Marathon in November. Anyone else heading over?

Sadly I'll be flying Air France, as a French aircraft manufacturer is paying for it. I'll be raising money for the Willow Foundation.

I'm very happy to drive round the course - after all its only 25 miles or so. However I am NOT running and I am NOT flying AF.

What is the willow foundation and are you making a pitch for contributions?

i am still running 10k's this year, and hope to find the time to train for the marathon distance again in 2007 or 2008... [y]

Any suggestions for the Stockholm Marathon? Has anyone done it? Only European marathon that would fit in.

Very good to hear Andy! I plan on about 3:30 or better. What is your goal?

Anycase we should met up prior to event, currently booked at Hotel Vitale as it is near the start.

There is still time for others to register! wink wink :)

Aiming for just under 4 hours, but will see how training pans out.
Vitale eh? good choice, I couldn't afford it, I'm over in Grosvenor Suites on Pine, couple blocks up from Union Sqaure (my 4th stay there), so a bit of a walk to warm up on the day!
Sure, would be good to meet up pre-race, I get into SFO on the 27th.

Cheers
