Another bmi Card

I currently have a Virgin Credit Card and bmi card. When I opened by bmi one, I received 20,000 free miles. Would it be possible for me to open another bmi card to get another 20,000 miles? What effect would this have on my credit score?

I think several people on the bmi forum on http://www.flyertalk.com opened more than one bmi card.

I would think that you would either get a lower credit score or MBNA would advise you of a lower credit limit ( happened to me initially when I opened first the ordinary virgin card then the FC card) but after a few months of regular payments the limit is increased.
