Could have posted under hotels but probably more appropriate here. If not may one of the mods may be so kind as to move it?

For my next 2 business trips to London in Febuary I've decided to bail out of my usual haunt, the City Inn @ Westminster. I love the hotel, the bar and restaurant are really good and the beds/pillows are comfy. DVD and CD player (including free DVD/CD rentals from the congierge as well).

However, I see too many work related colleagues there and am getting fed up of resorting to room service to avoid them.

I've booked into the Riverbank Park Plaza having stayed at the Victoria Park Plaza before the City Inn opened (and also the Leeds Park Plaza) so I'm reasonably sure of what standard to expect. But is it worth eating in the hotel? The description of their Chino Latino restaraunt is "asian cuisine in a latin atmosphere" - which leaves me totally perplexed! [:(] Has anyone eaten there or, alternatively, are there any recommendations for:

- Other restaurants in the area or
- hotels in the area of Millbank you would recommend

Regards

Pat
