Virgin Mastercard for FF

Am I missing something here.

I dumped my Gold Amex for the Virgin (£80 per annum, 2 miles per £1 spent) CC.

When I am online, is there a way I can see how many miles I am being credited?
I have not had the card long enough for a statement to be issued yet, so is this where they are calculated and reside?
I also see no way of being able to transfer them across to my FF account, or is this automatic?

When you recieve your statement it will say at the bottom how many FC miles have been credited to your account, if you have not recieved your first statement then this is why you will not have seen any activity. The miles are only calculated and added when the spending month is closed and the bill produced.

Check your first few statements, but the miles should go straight to your FC account automatically.

You may also find the miles do not 100% correspond to spending (i.e if your bill is £1005 you will likely not get 2010 miles) Some months you get more miles, some you get less, its all down to the fine detail of when the line is drawn for your balance to be converted to miles, but in the 2 years i have had my card, i have not had a problem or any missing miles. I used to account for them but i really dont have to bother. Id just make sure they were hitting your account each month for the first few months to be sure.

And you will see them credit to your VS FC account if you look in the VS website. Mine tend to credit around the 8th of the month IIRC

There is no way of tracking how many miles you have earnt mid statement, other than multiplying your balance by 2!! When your first statement is raised, you will see a message after list of transactions telling you how many miles you have earnt in that said month.

Virgin C.C members shop will transfer the points electronically to F.C, they will be credited to your account 3-4 days after your statement is raised.....

As for your bonus miles for signing up for the card. Some people seem to get theirs credited without any problems. Others, like myself have had to chase these. If you contact the members shop, they can help with this. Customer services have nothing to do with F.C miles, you can only deal with the members shop direct.. [y]
