Hello,

Please forgive me. I do not know what got into me [:p]

But I have booked a BA NCW trip to YYZ ( Toronto at the end of June for a week- visiting Montreal & quebec city)

I was able to get seats on the Upper deck ( 61A outbound, 63A return).

This will be my first BA NCW flight and first time in the T4 lounges so will give a comparison upon my return)( unbiased I promise :D)

Regards

We did NCW LHR-JFK last December. Given your familiarity with the Clubhouses I doubt the terraces lounge at T4 will impress. The Molton Brown Spa is in the lounge to your right when you go through security (basement area). Think you need to get in early to book treatments in time for completion prior to departure (couldn't find any way to pre-book). There is plenty of refreshment on offer, but no food to speak of. Lounge was busy too as you would expect with all the BA flights out of T4, although there are quiet zones.
As for on-board, I have only flown PE on VS, but was pretty happy with the top deck. It was very peaceful and the service was attentive (first time I have got on a plane and crew knew my name). Had a couple of Grand Mimosas on departure and settled back in the flatbed with no trouble at all. The backwards/facing configuration feels a bit strange at first (although i sat facing), but I felt like i had loads of room. Had it not been for my darling wife waking me up (didn't want me to miss afternoon tea, bless), I am sure I would have slept through to arrival.
No onboard bar or treatments though and when I went for a walk down the stairs I was told I could not walk around the other cabins and had to go straight back up again.

Hi,

Thanks for the comments ardbroilach.

I will be overnighting at the LHR Hilton before the lfight so just a short walk to T4 check in. ( I will get there early to put my name down for a treatment)

Spent the night before in exactly the same hotel. Spent a happy couple of hours sipping champagne in the lounge on the executive floor.
It is a longish walkway as I remember, but there were plenty of trolleys at the entrance on the hotel side.
If you are in the BA executive club you can check in 24 hours beforehand (and choose your seat) online.
After that you just need to go to the baggage drop and pick up your boarding card.
