Hi all,

Long time, no type and all that... :D

Quick question. Probably going to be flying out of LHR T3 on a Star Alliance flight in a month or so with the other half. Now, as much as I'd like to get in to the Clubhouse I'll have to make do with a Star Alliance lounge in this instance!

However, which one would people recommend? SAS/Air Canada, United or the SQ Raffles lounge? My thinking is that it's the Singapore lounge, but I'd appreciate the views of people who have been in either/all of them before. :)

Cheers,

Darryl

United's T3 Lounge is miserable - all dark and dingy. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The London Lounge (SAS/AC etC) is bright and airy but has a very weird Wireless Internet connection. Snacks & drinks are OK, and several "zones" to sit in. Not bad. They don't make any flight announcements though, so be careful...

Not used the SQ lounge in T3 before, so can't comment on that one.
