Hey fellow V-Flyers,

I wonder if somebody could be so kind as to post a form letter that could be sent onto Virgin & MBNA regarding the issues most of us are experiencing with the changeover of flying club miles earning credit cards.
I have tried myself but English is not my first language, and letter writing is not a stron point, hardly a winning combination [n]

All the best,

Kaz

Perhaps you might consider posting at least a start to the letter - with what topics you feel ARE "common" to everyone?

Otherwise, it would appear you're asking someone to put in a lot of effort on your behalf with no input from yourself, which is [n] in my opinion...

On [date], I applied to upgrade my MBNA/Virgin Mastercard to an MBNA/Virgin Amex. Ever since applying to upgrade, I have recieved less tahn satisfactpry service from yourselves. Amongst the problems I am having are (delete or expand on the problems not applicable to you)

Mis-advice from MBNA customer service agents.

I am disappointed because the service you are curently providing is not what I have come to expect from a multi national company, and is inferior to the service offered and delivered with the MBNA/Virgin Mastercard.

To resolve the problem I require you to [...........]

Let me make it a bit simpler for you - just post up your issue, as I will be visiting MBNA along with the person at VS that looks after them in the near future to discuss their 'service'.

Thanks,
Richard

Couldn't have put it better myself. Once they've ironed out the kinks I may reconsider - if I really can put up with an AE card.

Well, to be honest I'm moving all my spending to my BMI card. Sadly amex is virtually useless in Northern Ireland!

Looking forward to what comes out of that. I wrote to VS Customer Service to advise them of the atrocities being carried out in their name with an insistance that THEY took ownership of the problem not just pass my e-mail on to MBNA. A couple of reassuring e-mails from VS Customer Service later and then one saying they have passed my complaint onto Virgin Money - aaargh.

Richard, best of luck with the Muppets at MBNA!
