MRP, VWP, biometrics - bit confused over all this. My passport was issued in October 97 and expires October 2007. It's machine readable but has the old style photo (i.e. not digital). I'm travelling to the US next month. Is my passport still ok ?
Yes, your passport is still valid for the USA.
How long it will be before Uncle Sam insists on biometrics etc is anyones guess, but at the moment, UK machine readable passports with a normal or digital photo are all OK for the USA.
