Just got an email from them - and they're not THAT bad in terms of rates. Especially this little gem:

Not *actually* that bad of a deal, I'd say... [:0]

Mmm, that is cheaper than the rates that are often advertised on my AmEx statement each month. I think they use NetJets though....

Definitely not bad really - maybe a custom charter from the East Coast down to LAS....

I think this is an executive jet service highfly, rather than that other kind of executive service.

Was just checking on prices for London-Nice in November and thought this amusing for a light jet:

"The lavatories on this class of plane can vary. More modern aircraft such as the Lear 40, have a door on the lavatory and a small sink. Some light jets have nothing more than a curtain separating a potty from the rest of the cabin. On some aircraft the potty has a seatbelt and can serve as a passenger seat."

I have had the pleasure of flying on two executive jets, back in my corporate days, both were as a guest of Siemens Nixdorf as it was then, when they were courting my company for some very large contracts. One was a Citation and the a Gulfstream IIRC and one of them did just have a curtain across the very small toilet compartment - I remember no one used it!

Great way to travel, both seated about 8 pax, two pilots and one cabin crew. The seats were very comfortable and I remember you could slide them sideway a few inches into the aisle after we were allowed to remove our seatbelts to get more elbow room, they also swivelled. Although I must admit it felt a bit claustrophobic after the large commercial airliners.

A BBJ 737 to LAS. Now that would be a V-Flyer trip. Only £8K an hour as well:D

Well OneSky Jets looks to to be simply yet another charter broker.

Aircraft listed on OneSky.com are not owned or operated by OneSky Jets. These aircraft are operated by a select group of FAA Certified Part 135 Air Carriers that meet both FAA requirements and additional standards set by OneSky Jets. OneSky Jets does not own or operate aircraft.

NetJets, FacAir, FlightOpts, CitShare, XOJet.... Own and Operate their planes with their pilots. Now I do not know about OneSky in detail BUT a large number of charter companys have the pilots certified on all the planes they offer for charter but the pilots maybe just current on the plane.
