Apologies if asked before, but I'm curious to know where the extra income being generated by the VS Amex card is going to.
I'm asking this due to the appalling customer service of MBNA and asking myself : If MBNA are getting shedloads of extra income why hasn't any of it gone to implement proper systems and train staff effectively?
I've been enquiring with MBNA on a number of simple questions and always get fobbed off or promised a return phone call that doesn't happen. I'm presuming because someone else ( VS / Amex ) is getting the extra money generated from the additional % cut from it being an Amex card.
Apologies if this seems like a rant, but I think questions like:
"How much have I spent since I opened the account?" ( bearing in mind the £20,000 4x miles offer )
and
"Why haven't the Premium Economy rewards posted despite me spending x amount since opening the account?"
should be able to be answered simply and easily, and they're not.
