Being reported on Yahoo link that Aer Lingus and JetBlue are teaming up to form a strategic alliance allowing pax to book a flight from Ireland to anyone of JetBlues 51 cities on one ticket.

Good for EI, it was rumored long ago that VS would make this move after the saga of SRB's involvement with JetBlue came to an end.

It's just been announced over here, too. While I like jetBlue, I can't see myself flying the US with Aer Lingus - it's too much trouble getting to Dublin or Shannon

Seems like a bit of an unlikely combination to me - good for EI but I can't see B6 getting much out of this deal.[:?]

Only on one of their a332's (ei-daa i believe). The rest dont but the two new a332 on the way will have PTVs and a new business class product. The a333's prob wont get ptv's since the added weight will put restrictions on the ORD flight.

And some more good news for Ireland is that EY are now starting a service to AUH onwards to SYD.
