Has anyone flown with them.

I have to go to Miami in Sept and did a quick pricing.

Just about all the regular airlines want around $1k for domestic first class return.Spirit is $400 ish...same seat 2" less seat pitch, but $600 less, unless they are a total f%#k up of an airline it has to be a no brainer.

Hey VS..Spirit is a niche airline..how about offering miles with them, they fly to a lot of places I need to go to [y]

Me thinks Mr Scrooge had a little too much "Spirtit" before typing this.

Don't they use a lot of MD-80s and from memory similar to those that went down with tail screw problems?

I did look into them a while back as they fly to SJU. The promised service looked pretty good and their 'premium' cabin was as expensive as AA.

No my wrist is playing up again, looks like I will have to go under the knife for it, so bad typing is going to be the norm for a while I am afraid to say.

They now have a fleet of A319's and A 320's.

Well I ended up booking 4 seats for our up coming flights.

Total cost $1650...just a little less than $4200 US wanted.

Also for booking a seat in 1st I get 3 months free membership to their special offer club.

Think Ryan air type deals..you need to be a little flexible as some are short notice..but anytime I can get a LAS - FLL flight in coach for $88 I am a happy guy.

Good little airline by all accounts with a lovely modern fleet.

I will post a TR after I have taken this flight.

If it is half way good they will be getting a lot of my flights, sure I won't get miles that I can use on either VS or BA, but when I can pick up a flight to FLL for $16 rt + tax I don't care.
