Major reports of a large Northeaster weather front heading up the east coats of the USA, bringing flooding, storms and up to a foot of snow.
Texas already had tornadoes from it.
I take it this will effect many flights.

Think the words normal and weather can't be put anywhere near each other so far this year - wherever you are!

We had Tornados back in January in MCO. Didn't seem to affect many flights though. although I believe the snow storms further north were causing delays even before the front carrying the tornados arrived.

We flew out of EWR yesterday where there was some very heavy rain. It was the bumpiest ascent I'd experienced for some time with the seat belt sign on for the whole of the short flight to BDA. I couldn't see anything out of the window as we seemed to be in cloud for most of the flight. Even though conditions weren't great, I don't believe there were any major cancellations out of EWR yesterday, at least not late morning, early afternoon.

I noticed from the BAA website that all arrivals from the US east coast suffered delays yesterday and today
